1. Lok Sabha Elections 2024: Voting for the third phase covering 93 seats spread across 10 states and a Union Territory will take place on today (Tuesday).
A total of 93 constituencies spread across states like
25 seats in Gujarat, 14 in Karnataka, 11 in Maharashtra and ten seats in Uttar Pradesh will go to polls. Besides, voting will also be held on nine seats in Madhya Pradesh, seven in Chhattisgarh, five in Bihar, Four seats each in Assam and West Bengal, two seats each in Goa and the UT of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu. Voting will begin at 7 AM and end at 6 PM.
2. Nomination filing for Sixth Phase ends; Notification for seventh and last phase to be issued today.
3. The Election Commission issued directions to political parties for responsible and ethical use of social media in election campaigning to ensure a level playing field among all stakeholders. The Commission also warned the parties against the misuse of AI-based tools to create deep fakes that distort information or propagate misinformation, emphasising the need to uphold the integrity of the electoral process.

5. National Testing Agency (NTA) has termed the reports claiming the leak of the NEET-UG 2024 question paper baseless.
6. The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) announced results for Class 10th and 12th. According to the CISCE, pass percentage for the ICSE (Class 10th) was 99.47% while ISC (Class 12th) was 98.19%.
7. Srinagar-Leh highway reopened after remaining shut for 10 days due to adverse weather conditions and avalanches.
8. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heat wave to severe heat wave conditions over parts of Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Maharashtra and Karnataka. The IMD has said that these conditions will also prevail over Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh till the 9th of this month.

11. The Ayush ministry is sponsoring a workshop on “garbh sanskar”, hosted by the University of Patanjali, a move decried by sections of ayurveda physicians.

5. The CBI on Monday arrested an assistant director of the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) posted at Mumbai along with the director of a private testing lab and two others in a bribery case of Rs 1.20 lakh.

1. The Indian Army and the Air Force are planning to jointly deploy MQ-9B Predator drones at air bases in Sarsawa and Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh, for upgrading their surveillance capabilities all along the Line of Actual Control with China from Ladakh to Arunachal Pradesh.
2. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Monday reached Chhindwara, the native place of Indian Air Force soldier Corporal Vikky Pahade, who succumbed to injuries sustained in a terror attack on Saturday evening, to attend his last rites and pay tribute to him. Pahade had left behind his five-year-old son, wife, mother and sisters.
