1. Indian boxers continued their impressive run at the World Boxing Cup 2026 in Guiyang, China, assuring the country of six medals after a strong quarterfinal performance.
2. Seamer Harshit Rana has been added to the India squad for the third and final One-Day International against Afghanistan, which will be played at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai today.

In the Women’s Under-19 One-Day Trophy organized by the Bihar Cricket Association in Bhagalpur, 19-year-old batsman Akshara Gupta delivered a spectacular performance, scoring an unbeaten 306 runs off just 126 balls. In her innings, Akshara smashed 55 boundaries and 8 sixes. In domestic cricket, this is one of the biggest innings in the history of women’s cricket, second only to Mumbai’s Ira Gupta. Propelled by Akshara’s explosive batting, her team posted a mammoth total of 450 runs in 40 overs.
