The challenging year 2020 is finally coming to end but as the going gets tough, the tough gets going. We at FIH take pride as we aimed to get hockey pitch ready and provided all Continental Federations and National Associations with detailed guidelines to brave through Covid-19 pandemic. We successfully managed to play almost half of the FIH Hockey Pro League matches for this season in most of the countries whenever the health permitted.

Driven with the mission to develop hockey, we effectively utilized the covid intricacy of time to virtually train and successfully educate our hockey coaches, officials and administrators. The initiative is in addition to the growth of Hockey5s, for a more gender-equal sport with a high-level quality programme and good governance.

Futher, we’ve launched the foundations of our new digital home- “Watch.Hockey”. Within few weeks of limited international matches, our digital home is thriving with approximately 60’000 registered users on our application.

Now, FIH is moving forward stronger than ever as 2021 will be a year full of exciting events!
