1. Ukraine’s foreign minister Dmytro Kuleba condemned India’s ramping up of Russian oil purchases following Moscow’s invasion as “morally inappropriate” in an interview broadcast Tuesday.
2. India will provide technical support to Sri Lanka to enhance its dairy industry and milk output. National Dairy Development Board (NDDB) and the Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF), which markets milk under the Amul brand, have taken steps to provide necessary technical support for the production of milk in Sri Lanka.
3. 51st anniversary of ‘MaitriDiwas’ marking the recognition granted to Bangladesh by India in 1971 was celebrated in Dhaka on Tuesday, 6th December.

5. Gaganyaan, India’s first human spaceflight mission, seems to be in a state of limbo, following multiple delays due to the pandemic. The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is yet to issue a revised timeline of the project, which aims to launch a crew of three astronauts to an orbit of 400 km for three days. The project was conceived in 2007 and formally approved in 2018 with a budget of Rs 10,000 crore.

2. Election Commission of Pakistan on Tuesday began the process to remove Imran Khan from the position of chief of Opposition party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) following charges in the Toshakhana case.
3. Freedom at Midnight author Dominique Lapierre has passed away at the age of 91. He was born on July 30, 1931 in Chatelaillon.
Even though Lapierre was from France, he was passionate about India, something that was reflected in his 1985-work City of Joy, based on the hardships of a rickshaw puller in Kolkata.
