1. Eleven Test Pilots and Six Flight Test Engineers of the 48th Flight Test Course graduated from the Air Force Test Pilots School (AFTPS) in Bengaluru on 23 May 26 post completion of a rigorous 48 weeks multi-discipline training curriculum. This year, the graduating course, comprised of a cohort of 17 officers including 14 officers from Indian Air Force, one officer from Indian Army and two officers from Indian Navy. From here on, the graduates will join the Aviation Wing of the Aircraft and Systems Testing Establishment, which is one of the premier units of the Indian Air Force.
2. Border Roads Organisation has created a new global record by constructing the world’s highest motorable road across Mig La Pass in eastern Ladakh. The newly developed route stands at an altitude of 19,400 feet (5,913 metres), surpassing the previous record held by Umling La, which is located at 19,024 feet.
3. Shirdi is set to become a hub for defense manufacturing and technological innovation with the inauguration of the NIBE Shirdi Defence Manufacturing Complex. 2. A four-member medical team from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Delhi yesterday conducted second autopsy of former model turned actor Twisha Sharma in Bhopal in alleged dowry death case.
The post-mortem lasted nearly three hours under tight security arrangements. After completion of legal formalities, the body was handed over to the family, and the last rites were performed at the Bhadbhada crematorium in Bhopal.
