1. U.S. President Donald Trump said on Saturday (April 25, 2026) he had ordered his envoys not to travel to Pakistan to continue talks with Iranian officials on ending the war.
2. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi held a meeting with Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif amid uncertainty over the second round of US-Iran peace talks in Islamabad. According to Iran’s state-run IRNA, the Iranian Foreign Minister has left Islamabad after the meeting.
3. Suspected Somali pirates have hijacked a fuel tanker off the northeastern coast of Somalia. Local officials and the British military said the vessel was seized between Hafun and Bandarbeyla in Puntland on Wednesday as it travelled from Berbera to Mogadishu.
