1. Nepal’s Home Minister Sudhan Gurung has resigned, less than a month after his appointment, following questions over his investments.
2. On Tuesday, a resolution recommending Pakistan PM Shehbaz Sharif and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Asim Munir for the Nobel Peace Prize was submitted in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly. It came acknowledging their role in easing regional tensions through diplomacy and was moved by Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) lawmaker Farah Khan.
3. China has selected two Pakistani astronauts as candidates for a future mission to its Tiangong space station, marking a major step in bilateral space cooperation between the two countries. If the mission proceeds successfully, one of them could become the first foreign astronaut to visit China’s space station and the first Pakistani to travel into Earth’s orbit.
