1. India, Australia and Canada launched the Australia–Canada–India Technology and Innovation Partnership, or ACITI, on 9 July 2026. The trilateral framework covers artificial intelligence, green energy technologies, critical minerals, and resilient supply chains.

2. An Indian delegation visited Kyrgyzstan from 4 July to 7 July 2026 for the inauguration of the International Centre for Civilizational Studies “Manas and Mahabharata” in Bishkek. The centre was established through cooperation between the Manas National Academy in Kyrgyzstan and the Centre for Studies of International Relations (CSIR) in New Delhi.

3. Jaipur made a remarkable global achievement, as the city became the only Indian city to be included in the top 10 in the Happy City Index 2026, and it ranked 6th globally. Jaipur was acknowledged for the quality of life, rich heritage, good governance, and developing urban infrastructure.

4. The World Intangible Investment Report 2026, launched by World Intellectual Property Organization and Luiss Business School, reaffirms India’s emergence as a global innovation powerhouse.

In a social media post, Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal said that the report highlights India’s growing intangible investment in areas such as software, R&D, intellectual property, innovation and organisational capabilities that are shaping the economy of the future.

5. India welcomed the five hundred million Australian dollar investment from AustralianSuper, announced by their Chief Executive Officer, Paul Schroder in Melbourne.

1. International tensions remain high following renewed conflict involving the United States and Iran, prompting global calls for restraint and diplomacy.

2. An Iranian official accused the United States of conducting an airstrike near the Bushehr nuclear power plant.

3. Several British parliamentarians have expressed grave concern over the escalating unrest in Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK), where many civilians have been killed or injured in brutal crackdown by Pakistani security forces. The region remains under a strict lockdown, curfew, and a complete communications blackout.
