1. 🇮🇳 India backs UN world-map resolution — The Ministry of External Affairs has supported a newly adopted UN resolution on a world map and stressed that maps showing India must follow the country’s official position on Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.

2. Luxembourg Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Xavier Bettel will undertake a three-day official visit to India from 7 to 9 September.

1. 🇰🇵 North Korea commissions new warship: Kim Jong Un has commissioned a second 5,000-ton naval destroyer, equipped with nuclear-capable missiles. North Korea also launched about 10 short-range ballistic missiles as a U.S.–South Korea–Japan military exercise began.
