1. Indian space start-up GalaxEye has Mission Drishti, the world’s first OptoSAR satellite, aboard SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket from California in the United States. Weighing 190 kilograms, Mission Drishti is the largest Earth observation satellite ever built by a private Indian company.
2. Ambassador- designate of India to China, Vikram Doraiswami, reached Beijing yesterday.
3. The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has resumed normal flight operations to multiple destinations in India after a brief suspension amid the West Asia conflict.

1. Russian drone and missile strikes in Ukraine have killed 10 people and injured at least 76 over the past day. Authorities in five regions of Ukraine reported fatalities across the country as Moscow continues its regular aerial attacks on Ukrainian cities.
2. In the Philippines, thousands of people evacuated the area south of Manila after Mayon Volcano erupted and authorities advised the public to stay out of the six-kilometre radius danger zone.
3. Amid the ongoing West Asia conflict, the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC +) have agreed in principle to raise oil output targets for June. According to the cartel’s statement released after its first virtual meeting on Sunday, following the United Arab Emirates exit, the seven OPEC+ countries agreed to increase oil output targets by about 1,88,000 barrels per day next month.
