1. India and Russia inked a pivotal deal on Pantsir variants to bolster air defence capabilities. A major Indian defence public sector undertaking signed an agreement with Russia’s Rosoboronexport for cooperation on variants of the Pantsir air defence missile-gun system.
2. Indian officials from the space agency ISRO have held technical discussions in Moscow with Roscosmos regarding the procurement of semi-cryogenic rocket engines.The talks are part of a long-drawn process aimed at enhancing India’s rocketry muscle power, particularly the payload capacity of its most capable rocket, the Launch Vehicle Mark-3 (LVM-3).

A Marshall Islands-flagged LPG carrier, MT Sarv Shakti, carrying 46 thousand 313 Metric Tonnes of LPG (Indian cargo) with 20 crew members onboard, including 18 Indians, safely crossed the Strait of Hormuz yesterday. Official sources said, it is expected to arrive at Visakhapatnam on 13th of this month.

The US-carrier Spirit Airlines, known for its budget-friendly fares, has announced that it is ceasing operations effective immediately due to mounting financial difficulties and rising fuel prices amid the conflict in West Asia.
