IAF inducts first C-295 transport aircraft at Hindan Air Force Station
The first IAF squadron to be equipped with the aircraft, No. 11 Squadron, also named The Rhinos, is based in Vadodara.

Manipur’s war on drugs: The Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) has been refreshed with a set of new officers to continue the drive against illegal poppy cultivation and opium processing; the new team includes agriculture, forensics and cybercrime experts.
The scale of poppy cultivation in Manipur had spread across over 18,000 acres of land in the hills between 2017 and 2023, according to data from the state government.

1. An Indian Army contingent embarked on a journey to Russia to participate in the ASEAN Defence Ministers Meeting Plus Expert Working Group on Counter Terrorism. This significant event, known as the Counter Terrorism Field Training Exercise (FTX) 2023, is scheduled to take place from September 25th to September 30th.
