India passes G20 gavel to Brazil, proposes virtual summit in November.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday handed over the customary gavel of the G20 chair to Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva and proposed a virtual summit by November to take stock of initiatives taken during the Indian Presidency.
Brazil will formally assume the G20 Presidency on December 1 this year.

The ₹20-crore project involves the challenging work of transporting and using concrete blocks weighing 11 tonnes each for construction of the passenger jetty. Passenger boats are the only means of transport to reach these tourists spots.

1. The Indian Air Force (IAF) chief Air Chief Marshal (ACM) VR Chaudhari will depart for Spain on Monday to receive the first C-295 transport aircraft manufactured by Airbus in Spain.
The C-295 transport aircraft will then land in India a few weeks later where it will be formally inducted into the IAF by the Defence Minister Rajnath Singh. In 2021, India inked a deal with Airbus for the delivery of 56 C-295 aircraft for the Indian Air Force.

Indian Naval authorities organised a function at the INS Parundu Station in which the Math Trustee and Treasurer Swami Ramakrishnananda Puri presented the seed balls to Rear Admiral Ravi Kumar Dhingra, Flag Officer, Commanding, Tamil Nadu and Puducherry Naval area.
