HOW PLASTER OF PARIS IS PREPARED
Plaster of Paris is used to make casts and moulds. Plaster of Paris is produced by heating the gypsum up to 150 degree Celsius. It forms a dry powder of calcium sulphate.
Plaster of paris, quick-setting gypsum plaster consisting of a fine white powder (calcium sulfate hemihydrate), which hardens when moistened and allowed to dry. Known since ancient times, plaster of paris is so called because of its preparation from the abundant gypsum found near Paris.
It is commonly used to precast and hold parts of ornamental plasterwork placed on ceilings and cornices. It is also used in medicine to make plaster casts to immobilize broken bones while they heal, though many modern orthopedic casts are made of fibreglass or thermoplastics.

Basically, the umbrella was initially meant for rainy seasons. It was found that umbrellas made of black cloth dried faster than those made of cloth of other colors. Because black colour observes more heat and umbrella gets dry quickly. So it became a standard practice to use black cloth in the making of umbrellas.

Govind Ballabh Pant (10 September 1887 – 7 March 1961) was an Indian freedom fighter and one of the architects of modern India.
Alongside Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru and Vallabh Bhai Patel, Pant was a key figure in the movement for India’s Independence and later a pivotal figure in the Indian Government.
He was one of the foremost political leaders of Uttar Pradesh (then known as United Provinces) and a key player in the unsuccessful movement to establish Hindi as the national language of Indian Union. Today, several Indian hospitals, educational institutions and foundations bear his name.
Pant received India’s highest civilian honour, the Bharat Ratna, in 1957.
