2. In IPL cricket, Virat Kohli created history and broke several records during Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s six-wicket victory over Kolkata Knight Riders in Raipur. Kohli scored an unbeaten 105 runs off 60 balls, including 11 fours and 3 sixes. It was his 9th IPL century, the most by any player in the tournament’s history.
During his innings, Kohli also completed 14,000 T20 runs, becoming the first Indian and the fastest player ever to reach the milestone, breaking Chris Gayle’s record. He also crossed 400 runs in this IPL season.
