Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports Dr Mansukh Mandaviya felicitated Indian athletes who returned from the Commonwealth Games 2026 after delivering historic performances in boxing, judo and para-athletics. During the felicitation ceremony held in New Delhi, the medal winners were presented cash awards of 30 lakh rupees for gold, 20 lakh rupees for silver and 10 lakh rupees for bronze.
3. In Badminton, unseeded Indian pair Krishna Prasad Garaga and Pruthvi Krishnamurthy Roy advanced to Men’s doubles 2nd round.
4. Arunachal’s para shuttler Biri Takar has clinched Double Medal at BWF Para World Circuit in Brazil. Takar has won Gold in Men’s Doubles and Bronze in Men’s Singles. Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu congratulated the sportsman for his international achievements.
