1. The first Test between India and New Zealand ended in a draw after the Black Caps managed to hold on to a sole wicket for the last few overs in Kanpur. The next Test match is scheduled to be played between December 2 and December 7 at the Wankhede Stadium. Ahead of the second India vs New Zealand Test, a notice was sent out by the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) to inform all of its affiliated clubs that spectators’ entry will be limited to 25% of the stadium’s total capacity.
2. Indian tennis player Ramkumar Ramanathan won his maiden Challenger level singles title after 12 years turning a Pro. He outplayed Evgeny Karlovskiy in the summit clash of the ATP 80 Manama event, in Manama, Bahrain on 28 Nov. He beat his Russian rival 6-1 6-4. Ramkumar, seeded 6th and ranked 222 in the world.
3. FIFA has announced an 11 player strong nomination list for the FIFA Puskas Award 2021.
The FIFA Puskas Award is an annual prize handed to the player from the men’s or women’s game who has been judged to have scored the best goal of the year.
The award has been bagged by several international stars like Zlatan Ibrahimovich, Olivier Giroud and Cristiano Ronaldo among many others.
