RCB for the win!

IPL Match 22 RCB won by 1 run

Delhi Capitals (DC) Skipper won the toss and decided to bowl first. They started on a strong foot and gave Royal Challenger Bangalore (RCB) a run for their money. RCB had a rough start and within 10 overs and only 68 runs started to see the players run back to the stands.

It was over for skipper Virat Kohli after scoring only 12 runs in the fourth over as he was caught at the delivery of Avesh Khan. Devdutt Padikkal and Glenn Maxwell followed suit in quick succession and were sent back to the stands at the delivery of Ishant Sharma and Amit Mishra respectively.

However, AB de Villiers held fort for RCB. He upped the score for his home team and hit three fours and five sixes. He successfully added 22 runs at the delivery of Marcus Stoinis in the last over. Rajat Patidat and Glenn Maxwell also shined through for RCB.

After a shaky start, RCB finished strong with 171 for five against Delhi Capitals.

DC on other hand put up a very strong fight and gave people enough nails to bite. The duo Rishabh Pant and Shimron Hetmeyr scored big and held a strong ground with an unbeatable half century through the last over. But RCB’s bowlers fought strong and successfully guarded and earned the one run-victory.
