1. 30 June – World Asteroid Day

Asteroid Day is an event observed on 30 June every year to provide online education about the asteroid. This event is held on the anniversary of the Siberian Tunguska event that took place on 30 June, 1908. The UN passed a resolution for celebrating 30 June as Asteroid Day.

2. Russia had tested an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) from the Plesetsk cosmodrome in the country’s northwest in mid-June, according to a news agency report. State-owned TASS news agency.
