1. US and Australia on Saturday agreed to further cooperate with India, Japan, Indonesia, the Philippines and Korea to ensure the security and stability of the Indo-Pacific at the 33rd Australia-US Ministerial Consultations (AUSMIN).
2. INDIA, BHUTAN DISCUSS WAYS TO FURTHER STRENGTHEN BILATERAL COOPERATION ACROSS DIVERSE SECTORS: Foreign Secretary Vinay Kwatra and his Bhutanese counterpart Aum Pema Choden held discussions on ways to further strengthen the entire spectrum of bilateral cooperation across diverse sectors, informed the Ministry of External Affairs.
3. According to a report submitted to the United Nations Security Council (UNSC), banned outfit Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) might seek a merger with Al-Qaeda to create an umbrella organisation that incorporates all militant groups operating in South Asia.
