1. The fourth Operation Ganga flight with Indian evacuees from Ukraine has set off from Bucharest for Delhi. External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar said in a tweet that 198 Indian nationals are coming back to India.

2. External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar calls Foreign Minister of Moldova Nicu Popescu; seeks support for facilitating entry of Indian nationals on Ukraine-Moldova border.

3. India has said that its citizens are being evacuated from Ukraine through Romania and Hungary. In its advisory, Indian Embassy in Ukraine said that it is continuously exploring and working to open up more borders with neighbouring countries for Indian citizens.

1. Ukraine agrees to hold talks with Russia on Ukraine-Belarus border
The Ukrainian delegation has agreed to meet the Russian delegation with no preconditions on the Ukraine-Belarus border in the vicinity of the Pripyat river, Ukraine’s Defence Ministry said. Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has taken responsibility for ensuring that all planes, helicopters and missiles stationed on Belarusian territory remain on the ground during the travel, talks and return.

2. Russian President Vladimir Putin has put Russia’s nuclear deterrent forces on high alert in response to what he called “aggressive statements” by leading NATO powers over the situation in Ukraine. He further ordered his top officials to put them in a “special regime of combat duty.” This would mean the nuclear weapons will be prepared for increased readiness to launch.

4. *EU to fund purchase, delivery of weapons for Ukraine for the 1st time in history.* President of the European Union commission Ursula von der Leyen on Sunday announced that for the first time ever, the EU will finance the purchase and delivery of weapons and equipment to a country under attack. She added that the EU will close its airspace for all Russian planes, including the private planes of oligarchs.

5. France and Canada on Sunday became the latest countries to close their airspace to all Russian aircraft in response to the invasion of Ukraine. Germany, Austria, Italy, Poland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania are among the nations that have banned.

6. United Arab Emirates (UAE) not taking sides in Russia-Ukraine conflict, says official

6. Nepal’s Parliament on Sunday approved a US-funded $500 million grant agreement as protesters opposed to the aid clashed with the police. The agreement seeks to fund the building of electric transmission lines and the improvement of national highways. Critics have claimed that the aid would undermine Nepal’s laws and sovereignty as it will not have sufficient control over the projects.

7. The International Judo Federation on Sunday suspended Russian President Vladimir Putin’s status as Honorary President and Ambassador of the International Judo Federation, citing the ongoing war in Ukraine. Russia’s invasion by land, air and sea in Ukraine on Thursday followed a declaration of war by Putin.
