1. PM Modi attends G7 Summit in Hiroshima, Japan and holds bilateral meetings with top leaders of Japan, South Korea and Vietnam.
2. PM Modi met Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Hiroshima on Saturday on the sidelines of the G-7 Summit. During the meeting, Mr Modi noted that the conflict in Ukraine has had a significant impact on the whole world. He, however, stressed that for him, this is not a political or economic issue but an issue of humanity, of human values.

1. The 76th World Health Assembly, a significant global health event, is scheduled to be held from May 21 to May 30 in Geneva, Switzerland.
2. China and Russia have reached an important agreement that will enhance their economic cooperation and strengthen bilateral ties. The agreement focuses on the utilization of the Russian port, Vladivostok, as a transit hub for domestic shipments from China.
3. U.S. President Joe Biden told G-7 leaders that the country will support providing advanced warplanes including F-16s to Ukraine.
4. Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has reportedly created a ‘hit list’ targeting senior political leaders like Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah and PML-N party vice president and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s daughter Maryam. The list also includes top military and intelligence officials.
