1. US Court judgement to allow spouses of H-1B Visa holders in Tech Sector to work in America. The H1B visa programme is designed to allow skilled foreign workers to come to the US and work for American companies. However, until recently, spouses of H-1B visa holders were not allowed to work.

2. China and Japan on Friday set up a military hotline to strengthen their capability of managing and controlling maritime and air incidents arising due to their aggressive patrolling of the disputed waters in the East China Sea.

3. Donald Trump first US ex-president to face criminal charge, expected to surrender on Monday.

Donald Trump has been indicted by a Manhattan grand jury on charges related to paying off a porn star during his 2016 presidential campaign.

4. Brazil’s President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva will meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping on April 14 in Beijing.

5. IMF approves $15.6 billion loan for Ukraine. The new Extended Fund Facility would allow the immediate disbursement of around $2.7 billion to Ukraine. The decision is expected to mobilize large-scale concessional financing from Ukraine’s international donors and partners to help resolve Ukraine’s balance of payments problem, attain medium-term external viability, and restore debt sustainability, the fund said in a statement.
