On February 18 last year, Sindhuri discovered that Moudgil had made several allegations against her in Facebook posts. In these posts, Moudgil allegedly accused Sindhuri of sharing her private pictures with fellow IAS officers. This led to a public spat between the two, prompting the State government to transfer both officers.

The Supreme Court on Tuesday said celebrities and influencers are equally liable for action as those who advertise a product or service in a misleading manner, and ordered all advertisers to give undertakings before issuing commercials or ads in print that theirs are not misleading advertisements.

1. Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has decreased the maximum risk for custodian banks issuing irrevocable payment commitments (IPCs) from 50% to 30%. This decision is based on the assumption of potential downward price movements of equities purchased by foreign institutional investors/mutual funds over two successive days from the trade date.

The approval granted last year for Adani’s $442 million investment in 484 megawatts wind power plants underscores the growing partnership between the two nations in the renewable energy sector.

1. Indian Naval Ships Delhi, Shakti, and Kiltan reach Singapore as part of Eastern Fleet deployment to South China sea.

3. The Border Roads Organisation marked its 65th Raising Day on Tuesday as Defence Secretary Giridhar Aramane urged the BRO to infuse latest technology and techniques for faster completion of projects, saying automation and mechanisation will be key for it in the future.
The defence ministry in a statement said the BRO will soon commence the construction on 4.10-km long Shinkun La Tunnel. Once completed, this tunnel will become the world’s highest tunnel at 15,800 ft bypassing Mila Tunnel in China at 15,590 ft.
4. A three member Jordan Armed Forces (JAF) training delegation led by Cdr Hazem I Maitah visited Southern Naval Command, Kochi and Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala from 29 Apr to 04 May 24. The maiden visit was aimed at military training exchanges as decided during the second consultative meeting on defence cooperation between the two countries.
5. Ordnance Factory Medak, (OFM) on Monday entered into a contract with the Indian Coast Guard for the Supply of 10 CRN-91 Guns. The contract was formally handed over by Deputy Inspector General of Coast Guard Bhibhuti Ranjan to OFM General Manager P Babji, at Coast Guard Headquarters, New Delhi.
6. The Border Security Force (BSF) has introduced new guidelines outlined by the Directorate General (DG) for non-gazetted officers in the force with the aim of improving job satisfaction.
(a) The new rules allow personnel choice in terms of posting.
(b) Each posting location will be considered one of five choices permitted annually.
(c) Requests for alternative postings are allowed but will not be counted towards the ‘own request posting’ unless it matches the desired location.
