1. No more 1 litre water bottles for on Vande Bharat and Shatabdi trains; says Indian Railways : Each passenger aboard the Vande Bharat train will receive a 500 ml Rail Neer Packaged Drinking Water (PDW) bottle. Furthermore, passengers have the option to request an additional 500 ml bottle from the train staff at no extra charge. This shift comes as a measure to minimise water wastage and optimise resources in a more efficient manner.

2. 8. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), in response to the arrest of their leader, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, launched a new campaign song, Jail Ka Jawab Vote Se. Sung in rap style, the song was unveiled at the party’s headquarters in New Delhi recently.

9. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin on Saturday allotted Rs 150 crores to manage water scarcity in about 22 districts, including by supplying water to people through tankers.

10. The much-awaited manifesto-2024 of YSRCP with nine crucial promises was released by the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy at Tadepalle party office in Guntur on Saturday.

Promising to continue existing welfare schemes aimed at benefiting people across the State. He said that the pensions to elderly persons was increased from Rs.3,000 to Rs.3,500. The pension amount of Rs.250 will be increased in January 2028 and another Rs.250 will be increased in January 2029 totaling to Rs.3,500.

1. AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan has been asked by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) to depose again on Monday( 29 April) in a money laundering case linked to alleged irregularities in the Delhi Waqf Board during his chairmanship.

1. The makers of Kalki 2898 AD have announced that the Indian epic science-fiction dystopian film will hit theatres on 27th June. The film stars Prabhas as Bhairava, Amitabh Bachchan as Ashwatthama, Kamal Haasan as Kali, and Deepika Padukone as Padma. Disha Patani will also be seen playing a pivotal role in the movie.

2. Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh is reportedly gearing up for a collaboration with director Prasanth Varma, who struck gold with his last release HanuMan starring Teja Sajja in the lead.
