1. The Central Bureau of Investigation, CBI has conducted searches multiple premises linked to the partners of a Mumbai-based firm and other locations in connection with an alleged bank fraud of 62 crore 42 lakh rupees.

The Central Consumer Protection Authority (CCPA) has imposed penalties of one lakh rupees each on Storia Foods and Beverages Private Limited and Bectors Food Specialities Limited for misleading advertisements and unfair trade practices arising from the use of the expression ‘100 percent’ in relation to their food products.

The Government has refuted claims circulating on social media on granting a loan amount worth 10 Lakh rupees under the Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana on payment of a processing fee of six thousand 550 rupees. The Fact Check Unit of the Press Information Bureau (PIB) has informed that the letter is fake.
