1. The upcoming Winter Session of the Parliament plans to introduce 7 new bills and address 11 pending ones.

2. The Indian government has granted approval to two multinational corporations, Siemens AG from Germany and Kyosan Electric Manufacturing Co from Japan, to deploy the automatic train collision avoidance system known as Kavach on the Indian Railways.

3. The Union Cabinet, led by PM Modi, has recently approved the Pradhan Mantri Janjati Adivasi Nyaya Maha Abhiyan (PM-JANMAN), a comprehensive initiative aimed at addressing the challenges faced by Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs). This scheme, with a substantial total outlay of Rs 24,104 crore.

1. The Madras High Court recently directed the Central government to consider increasing the age of retirement for all officers of the Indian Coast Guard to 60 years.

2. In TELANGANA: The Election Commission of India (ECI), based on a report by Special Observers over seizure of ₹18 lakh cash from Musheerabad on Wednesday, suspended three police officers for ‘partisan policing’.

3. A 36-year-old Israeli woman was on Thursday found dead at her residence in this southern Kerala district, The police suspect that the woman’s 70-year-old live-in partner killed her and have lodged an FIR under section 302 of the IPC against him.

4. A Varanasi court gave 10 more days to the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) to file its survey report in Gyanwapi case. Now ASI has to file the report on 11th December.

The Central Consumer Protection Authority (CCPA), under the leadership of Chief Commissioner Mrs. Nidhi Khare, has issued a Safety Notice under Section 18(2)(j) of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. The notice aims to caution consumers against the purchase of highly corrosive acids on e-commerce platforms, emphasizing the potential dangers and risks associated with such transactions.

6. The Union Cabinet, under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, has approved the extension of the Fast Track Special Courts (FTSCs) as a Centrally Sponsored Scheme (CSS) from April 1, 2023, to March 31, 2026.

1. President Murmu reviews NDA Passing out Parade in Pune . A total of 353 cadets were conferred their degree and course completion certificates from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) at the convocation of the 145th course of the NDA held on Wednesday. The passing out cadets included 77 cadets in science stream, 87 cadets in computer science and 55 cadets in arts stream.

2. The Indian Government is mulling to rename the Indian Air Force (IAF) to Indian Air and Space Force. Former IAF Chief, Air Chief Marshal RKS Bhadauri described this as a postive development, stating that this is a ‘work in progress,’ and makes a lot of sense.

3. Indian Navy Ship (INS) Kadmatt deployed to the North Pacific on Thursday conducted Underway Replenishment (UNREP) with Japan’s JS Towada.INS Kadmatt is the second of four anti-submarine warfare corvettes built for the Indian Navy by the Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers of Kolkata under Project 28.

4. Hindustan Aeronautics Limited will likely need a three-year timeframe to absorb the technology for its ambitious co-production of GE-F414 jet engines for the Indian Air Force: Defence manufacturer CB Ananthakrishnan said.

5. Defence Acquisition Council approves capital acquisition proposals worth Rs 2.23 lakh crore to enhance the operational capabilities of the Armed Forces, 98% to be sourced from domestic industries in a major boost to ‘Aatmanirbharta’ in defence.

6. The Indian Navy celebrates Navy Day on December 4 to commemorate “Operation Trident”, the Navy’s attack on Karachi harbour during the 1971 India-Pakistan War. The event will also showcase the Indian Navy’s state-of-the-art ships and aircraft to the general public and online viewers through a live telecast.

The Defence Ministry said that the event will witness participation of 20 warships along with 40 aircraft comprising Mig 29K and LCA Navy as major attractions along with combat beach reconnaissance and assault demo by the Marine Commandos (Marcos) of the Indian Navy. This is the first time that the Indian Navy would be organising a mega event which is not taking place at any major Naval station.

7. Indian and Australian armed forces on Wednesday underwent tactical exercises in multi-domain operations in urban and semi-urban terrain during the Joint Military Exercise AUSTRAHIND 2023 in Australia.

8. Governor Dr Hari Babu Kambhampati has appointed Squadron Leader Manisha Padhi, a distinguished officer from the 2015 batch of the Indian Air Force, as India’s first Woman Aide-De-Camp (ADC).

9. India and China on Thursday held “constructive” diplomatic talks on proposals to resolve the remaining issues and achieve complete disengagement in eastern Ladakh.
