1. The Directorate of Information and Public Relations (DIPR), Government of Manipur, launched the ‘DIPR Manipur Fact Check’, an official Facebook page and organised a one-day awareness programme on its existing welfare schemes at the DIPR Auditorium in Imphal.

In Madhya Pradesh, a tragic accident took place this evening at the Bargi Dam in Jabalpur when a cruise boat carrying tourists capsized near Khamaria Island after it was hit by a sudden storm and strong waves. Around 30 tourists were on board at the time of the incident. So far, 4 people have been confirmed dead, while 15 others have been rescued safely. Several people are still reported missing.

4. India and Sri Lanka conducted the fourth IN–SLN DIVEX 2026 in Colombo from April 21–28, featuring INS Nireekshak and Sri Lankan Navy divers. The exercise boosts interoperability, strengthens maritime ties, and supports peace in the Indian Ocean Region.
5. The Defence Research and Development Organisation highlighted that Brahmos Aerospace revenue has crossed 5200 crore rupees for the year 2025-2026. In a social Media post, DRDO said that the new Lucknow facility has started rolling out the first batch of missiles within a year of commencing operations.
