1. India starts deporting citizens of Myanmar who had escaped an upsurge in fighting between rebels and the ruling junta in a border region.
2. The Ministry of External Affairs issued an appeal to Indian nationals to not be swayed by offers made by agents for support jobs with the Russian Army.

Merchants under Fonepay’s network can seamlessly accept UPI payments from Indian customers. The Indo-Nepal UPI payments initiative was unveiled at the Global Fintech Fest in Sept 2023 in India.
6. India has been bestowed with the prestigious measles and rubella champion award for its exemplary efforts in combating these diseases. The award was received by the ambassador Sripriya Ranganathan on behalf of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare at American Red Cross Headquarters in Washington on 6th March.
7. The Indian Consulate in Dubai has introduced a new insurance package called the Life Protection Plan (LPP) for Indian blue-collar workers in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). This plan aims to provide financial benefits to the families of the workers in case of natural or accidental deaths.
8. External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar met Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida on Friday and discussed advancements in strategic partnership between the two nations.
9. United States and India have reaffirmed their commitment to cooperation in the Quad Counterterrorism Working Group and other multilateral forums for advancing shared security interests within the region while supporting a free and open Indo-Pacific.

Ministry of External Affairs Joint Secretary PAI division (Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Iran), JP Singh on Thursday called on the Taliban’s appointed Afghanistan’s Foreign Minister, Amir Khan Muttaqi and expressed New Delhi’s willingness to expand relations with Kabul and promote trade through Chabahar Port.

4. British foreign minister David Cameron will discuss boosting support for Ukraine and efforts to get more humanitarian aid into Gaza in talks with his German counterpart Annalena Baerbock in Berlin.
