1. The Minister of State (MoS) for External Affairs and Education, Rajkumar Ranjan Singh, will visit 🇲🇾Malaysia from November 30-December 2 to further advance the India-Malaysia Enhanced Strategic Partnership.

2. The Taliban-appointed Deputy Political Minister of Foreign Affairs of 🇦🇫Afghanistan, Sher Mohammad Abbas Stanikzai said that the Afghan consulates in Mumbai and Hyderabad have been reopened and started functioning in the country, The Khaama Press reported on Wednesday.

3. On the occasion of the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, India’s permanent representative to the United Nations, Ruchira Kamboj, reaffirmed India’s long-standing relationship with the Palestinian people and its support for a negotiated two-state solution, adding, “India has a zero-tolerance approach to terrorism.”Kamboj addressed the United Nations General Assembly on Tuesday.

4. Bharat has voted in favour of a draft resolution in the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) that expressed deep concern over Israel not withdrawing from the Syrian Golan. The Syrian Golan is a region in southwest Syria that was occupied by Israeli forces on June 5, 1967.

5. Union Minister of State for External Affairs Meenakshi Lekhi on Tuesday addressed a conference on the 75 years of India-Hungary relations and elaborated on New Delhi’s vision of ‘Amrit Kaal’ and a brighter future of relations.

6. 🇦🇺 Australia Prime Minister Anthony Albanese hailed the Indian authorities for successfully carrying out the rescue operation to evacuate 41 workers who were trapped inside the Silkyara-Barkot tunnel in Uttarakhand. He also expressed pride in the role of Professor Arnold Dix, a tunnelling expert from Australia, who oversaw the operation that progressed over two weeks.

7. The US🇺🇸 attorney general’s office news release said that Indian national Nikhil Gupta was arrested with murder-for-hire charges in connection with an alleged plot to assassinate Sikhs for Justice chief Gurpatwant Singh Pannun that failed.

External Affairs Ministry Spokesperson Arindam Bagchi on Wednesday said India constituted a high-level enquiry committee on November 18 to look into all the relevant aspects of the matter.

8. Bharat to construct 10,000 houses in Sri Lanka’s plantation regions as part of Phase IV of Indian Housing Project.

9. The US Embassy and its consulates in India issued a record breaking one lakh forty thousand student visas between October 2022 and September this year.

10. ISRO Chief S Somanath has confirmed that NASA is working towards sending Bharat astronaut to the International Space Station (ISS).

In addition to the astronaut program, both space agencies are gearing up for the launch of the NASA-ISRO Synthetic Aperture Radar (NISAR) satellite in the first quarter of 2024. NISAR aims to provide an unprecedented view of Earth by observing its dynamic surface and interior, which will contribute significantly to the understanding of climate change and natural resource management.
