1. The Parliamentary Standing Committee on External Affairs, chaired by Member of Parliament Shashi Tharoor, has begun a four-day study visit to Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh to review strategic border security and foreign policy issues.
2. India has become the World’s Top Ship Recycling Nation in the year 2025. The Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways said that as per the latest report by the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development, India’s share of global ship recycling increased to 35.4 per cent in 2025 from 30.1 per cent in 2024.
3. Chemicals and Fertilizers Ministry has said that four cargo ships, carrying shipments of Urea, Di-Ammonium Phosphate (DAP), and Sulphur have successfully crossed the Strait of Hormuz last week.
4. The Centre informed the Supreme Court that the CBSE has come up with a new policy for the evaluation of private students, who were affected by the cancellation of Class XII board examination in Gulf countries due to the recent Iran-US war.

6. A 90-kilogram bronze statue of Maharshi Sushruta was unveiled at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in Scotland, United Kingdom, on 19 June 2026. The statue was installed in the Playfair Auditorium of the college, which was established in 1505 and is among the oldest surgical institutions in the world.
