1. The Government of India has expanded the scope of the Resilience and Logistics Intervention for Export Facilitation (RELIEF) by including Egypt and Jordan among the eligible countries. 1. Australia and Japan have signed a major $7 billion defence agreement for the supply of advanced stealth warships to the Royal Australian Navy, marking one of Japan’s largest military export deals in recent decades.
2. The Philippines has joined the US-led Pax Silica initiative, aimed at strengthening global supply chains for semiconductors, artificial intelligence, and critical minerals. As part of the partnership, a 4,000-acre industrial hub will be developed in Luzon.
3. In Balochistan, five civilians were killed in extrajudicial actions, while four others were forcibly disappeared by Pakistani forces. According to the Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC), the body of 17-year-old student Hatim Baloch was recovered nearly 11 days after he was allegedly taken by Pakistan’s Frontier Corps in the Panjgur district.
