1. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and French Emmanuel Macron held delegation-level talks at historic Villa Kérylos at Nice in France. The discussions between two sides focused on expanding the Special Global Strategic Partnership between two countries, across key sectors including defense, technology, and trade.
2. The 52nd G7 Summit will begin today at Evian in France. The 3-day event are being attended by G7 members – Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, UK, US and European Union.
3. Indian Embassy in Oman has said that all 14 Indian crew members from the Indian-flagged mechanised sailing vessel, Virat 1 have been rescued. The vessel had suffered an engine failure off the coast of Oman.
4. The Israeli military announced that it launched strike on Lebanese capital targeting infrastructure of Iran-backed armed group Hezbollah.
5. A historic cultural milestone was achieved in Colombo yesterday as more than 5,000 Bharatanatyam dancers performed together, clinching the Guinness World Record for the largest Bharatanatyam dance lesson. The event, organised by Sangamam Global Academy, India and Samgamizh Liya, Sri Lanka, was held at Galle Face Green in Colombo and brought together thousands of dancers from Sri Lanka.

1. In Pakistan, seven people, including two children, were killed and 33 injured in rain-related incidents across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province over the past 24 hours.
2. Iran has said it has not yet taken a final decision on the proposed Memorandum of Understanding aimed at ending tensions with the United States and Israel.
3. US President Donald Trump has said a deal aimed at ending the conflict with Iran is scheduled to be signed soon, adding that the strategic Strait of Hormuz would be open to all immediately afterwards.
