1. India reiterated that Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh are an inalienable and integral part of India. Briefing media in the national capital this evening, External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said, the issues that should concern the international community are the atrocities currently being perpetrated in Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir, and the use of PoJK for cross-border terrorism.
2. Protests were reported from several parts of Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir, with demonstrators demanding fundamental rights, accountability for reported killings and an end to alleged restrictions on civil liberties.
3. Seven suspected Bangladeshi nationals have been detained by police from the Baligram area under Lalgola police station in the Murshidabad district of West Bengal and sent to a holding centre.
