1. The Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba outlined three key tasks for strengthening relations with India:
(a) Restoring pre-war levels of trade and cooperation.

(b) Working on new joint projects and programs.

(c) India’s participation in President Zelenskyy’s Peace Formula, and working to organize visits by the leaders of both countries.

2. External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar expressed India’s strong support for the Philippines in defending its national sovereignty. He emphasized the desire to explore additional areas of collaboration, particularly in defense and security. Jaishankar made these comments during a productive discussion with his counterpart Enrique Manalo in Manila, particularly relevant amid the Philippines’ maritime disagreement with China in the South China Sea.

3. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has recorded the statements of the family members of Azad Yousuf Kumar, a Kashmiri man who was allegedly unwittingly thrust into the Russia-Ukraine conflict after being deceived.The agency recorded their statements recently after filing an FIR against 19 people and visa consultancy firms linked to the exploitation of Indian youth.

1. Israeli soldiers killed Hamas terrorists holed up in Gaza’s Shifa Hospital compound as operations to root out gunmen and operatives continued, the Israel Defence Forces said.

2. The abduction case of Falak Noor, an 11-year-old girl from Gilgit-Baltistan, has now gained attention in Gilgit Baltistan (GB). Girl has been abducted since January 20 this year, from Sultanabad in Gilgit Baltistan.

Local leaders and people Saturday organised protests on several locations in GB. They criticised the establishment for sheer ignorance of the matter and issued an ultimatum for the administration of one week, stating Noor must be returned to her parents within that time, otherwise, protests and sit-ins will be organised on an even larger scale.

3. Moscow Crocus city hall attack: The death toll mounts to 144 and 551 injured. On the evening of March 22, a terrorist incident shook the music venue situated in Krasnogorsk, Moscow Region, just on the outskirts of Moscow.

4. The United Nations Security Council (UNSC) has been monitoring North Korea’s compliance with sanctions imposed due to its nuclear weapons and ballistic missile programs. A panel of experts was set up in 2009 to track and report on any violations of these sanctions. However, in recent developments, Russia has used its veto power to halt the UN’s monitoring of sanctions violations by North Korea.

5. Africa’s Westernmost country Senegal’s Constitutional Council has confirmed the presidential election victory of opposition candidate Bassirou Diomaye Faye, paving the way for his inauguration as the country’s fifth president.
