1. External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar said that India supports the Gaza peace plan and hopes that it paves the way for a durable and lasting solution.

3. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar yesterday met Sri Lanka’s Leader of Opposition Sajith Premadasa in New Delhi. During the meeting, the Finance Minister and Mr. Premadasa discussed Sri Lanka’s economic recovery and ways to further deepen bilateral economic and investment ties.
4. India and Israel Tuesday signed a pact on defence cooperation that seeks to provide a unified vision and policy direction to deepen the already strong ties between the two countries, the Ministry of Defence said in a statement.
5. Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal will hold trade talks with Minister for Trade of New Zealand Todd McClay and discuss the ongoing Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between the two countries. Mr Goyal is visiting New Zealand and will also participate in a series of high-level engagements aimed at strengthening trade, investment, and innovation linkages between the two nations today.
6. India has sent humanitarian assistance to Jamaica and Cuba in the aftermath of Hurricane Melissa. Around 20 tonnes each to Jamaica and Cuba were sent as Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) from New Delhi.
7. Adviser to the government, Professor Ajay Kumar Sood, and National Technology Adviser to the United Kingdom, Dr David Warren Smith, unveiled the pilot version of India-United Kingdom Science and Technology Partnership (IN-UK-STP) Dashboard in New Delhi.
