Dinesh ahlawat, President, MASK theater group has been promoting hindi theater at grass root level in silence for nearly a decade now. Ahlawat who did diploma from Delhi’s famous Shri Ram center in the year 1984-85 & over there shri pathak was his teacher. He started Panchanan Pathak Smriti Saptahant Haasya Natya Samaroh in the memory of his guru, Shri. Panchanan Pathak in the year 2003. Since then Panchanan Pathak Smriti Saptahant Haasya Natya Samaroh is an awaited event in the calendar of hindi theater circles.
Ahlawat says, the motto of this hindi theater festival is to tap new talent, promote artist & hindi theater at large.
Ahlawat shares that, due to pandemic, covid 19, it was difficult to organize this event, twice I had to postpone the scheduled event. Till 15th October delhi theaters were closed then I was left with only one option that was to shift the event outside delhi.
Ishaan music college, Noida was the best possible venue available to host this prestigious event. We had to make all arrangements as per the government guidelines for the smooth conduct & safety of all.
The event has not only helped the theater groups to bounce back on stage but it has helped in the revival of hindi theater post covid in Delhi & NCR.
After all, the show must go on!
