Rajan Shahi and Deepa Shahi’s Anupamaa takes an emotional turn as the rivalry between Anupama and Prem’s teams is overshadowed by growing concerns for their families, while a sudden incident involving Ansh and fears surrounding Pranshi bring the Shahs and Kotharis together.
The episode begins on a lighter note as Pakhi notices Leela enjoying ice cream and encourages her to try it with chocolate sauce. Paritosh also tries to please Leela by offering her a foot massage. However, the conversation soon shifts to the competition, with Leela confidently discussing Prem’s arrogance and Vasundhara’s defeat. Pakhi joins in by criticising Vasundhara, but Leela reminds her to respect the elders. She even tells Pakhi and Paritosh that they would have been serving Vasundhara had she won the challenge.
Anupama tries to maintain a balanced perspective and points out that Vasundhara also performed well. Leela remains convinced that Prem’s team’s overconfidence will eventually work against them. Hasmuk asks Pakhi and Paritosh to stay out of the matter, while Anupama reminds everyone that they should concentrate on their own performance instead of celebrating someone else’s loss.
The mood suddenly changes when Prerna informs Anupama about Ansh’s accident. Panic spreads through the family as everyone tries to find out what happened. At the same time, Shruti faces pressure from investors and begins worrying that Prem’s attitude could jeopardise their chances of winning. She decides to seek Manpreet’s support and starts working on a plan.
As the Shahs desperately wait for news about Ansh, Leela begins blaming herself for becoming too excited about the competition. Anupama refuses to entertain negative thoughts and insists that nothing serious will happen to Ansh.
Meanwhile, Vasundhara feels guilty about Prem’s situation and worries that her performance may have affected his dream of winning. She decides to consult a priest. Prem, on the other hand, tells Rahi that losing to Anupama could have serious consequences, including the possibility of Shruti selling the café. Rahi reminds him that the competition is not over and urges him not to think about defeat prematurely.
The tension eases when Ansh finally returns home. Digvijay explains that he had fallen into a nearby pit but fortunately escaped with only minor injuries. Ansh immediately asks about Pranshi, sensing that something may be wrong. When he learns that Pranshi is unwell, he becomes restless and wants to see her despite his own injury. Understanding his concern as a father, Anupama allows him to go with Digvijay.
Soon, Anupama herself becomes emotional. She feels that neither family seems genuinely happy and begins wondering whether they have been affected by an evil eye. Digvijay tries to calm her down and reminds her to stay strong.
Vasundhara also shares her concerns with a priest, who senses negativity surrounding the family and suggests that both families perform a joint prayer for Pranshi. Although Prem initially refuses to involve the Shahs, Rahi reminds him that they love Pranshi just as much and asks him to put their differences aside for the child.
Eventually, Vasundhara and Rahi arrive at the Shah house late at night, bringing the two families together once again for Pranshi’s well-being.
Precap: The families’ joint prayer becomes a talking point in the media, with reports suggesting that Anupama and Prem have put their rivalry aside. A new competition challenge is announced in which Anupama and Prem will be paired together, with one contestant giving instructions while the other follows them. The makers also plan to install cameras in the house, leaving Anupama and Prem stunned.
