The grand finale of the Salman Khan starrer Bigg Boss 15 was a blockbuster in all ways.

Tejasswi Prakash came out on top and went on to defeat Pratik Sehajpal, Karan Kundrra, Shamita Shetty, and Nishant Bhat to lift the winner’s trophy for this season.

Several celebrities took to social media to express their views after the ‘Swaragini’ television actress won the much-loved and popular reality show, that was initially launched way back in October 2021.

Although Shamita couldn’t win BB 15, she received praises from the viewers for being opinionated and strong-headed.

Her mother Sunanda Shetty and beau Raqesh Bapat attended the grand finale of Bigg Boss 15 in Filmcity, Mumbai, to support the ‘Mohabbatein’ actress, who emerged as one of the finalists of the show.

Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty, Shamita’s elder sister, came to the sets on the finale day to cheer for her sister, Tunki aka Shamita Shetty. Shilpa reacted to winner Tejasswi Prakash’s ‘aunty’ jibe and said: ‘It boils down to manners’.

Shamita Shetty and Tejasswi Prakash had not been getting along in the show and the latter made some nasty remarks about Shamita in the past few weeks. Tejasswi called her ‘Aunty’ and age-shamed her too and was criticised for her remarks.

Later, she thanked the fans who have supported Shamita Shetty and also requested them to vote for her when the voting lines open again. Apart from this, Shilpa also commented on Shamita’s desire of getting married this year. She stated that till the time her sister doesn’t communicate this to her personally, she won’t react to it.

Shilpa also shared that she’s very nervous today on the finale and also recalled that she was way more relaxed when she had participated in Bigg Brother. “I am very nervous, more than what I was on my Bigg Boss finale day. I am very nervous, but I am very excited because she has played the game very well. She has all the qualities to be a winner. She’s already a winner for me,” she said.
