Actor Imran Nazir Khan who has been part of Meri Bhavya Life, will soon be seen in Tribeverse on Hotstar. Sharing more on his career Khan says,”I have been fortunate to be part of a variety of projects that have helped me grow as an artist. I’ve also explored different genres and characters, which has allowed me to build a connection with the audience. Each project has contributed to my journey and helped me evolve both personally and professionally. My new show Tribeverse is very different and very unique. Unlike other shows that have come out so far, it lets you see real survival. I’m genuinely excited because the audience will experience something fresh and raw. When I first found out about the show and that we will be shooting in Nagaland, I felt a bit scared because I have never been to that place. But I love challenges, so I decided to try something new. I feel other reality shows, like dating shows, don’t bring anything fresh. When I got the brief, I realized this was something completely different, and that’s what made me say yes.”
He adds, ”The concept of the show is different and unique and nothing was scripted. It’s all real. It’s not fictional or like a daily soap, whatever you see is actually what happened. There were many difficult challenges, which made the experience even more intense and real.”
On being asked about his prep work, Khan says, ”Usually, people have seen me in certain types of characters, but in this reality show, audiences will see the real Imran – how I am as a person. So in a way, the preparation was more about being mentally ready to face whatever came my way and staying true to myself. Tribe verse is a show where every moment is a challenge. There were times when I felt like running back home. The tasks were extremely tough, there were a lot of hurdles, and it really tested us both physically and emotionally. When people watch the show, they’ll truly understand how difficult it was.”
Nagaland is known for its natural beauty. Imran feels the audience will get to see the state clearly. “Viewers will get to learn about the culture of Nagaland and how beautiful it is. The show is based on the tribes there, so they’ll discover a lot about their lifestyle. At the same time, they’ll see how each contestant performed and how their personalities unfolded.”
Abhishek Malhan and Khusboo Patani are coming up with this new show on JioHotstar, inspired by Nagaland. The show will feature 16 content creators and is set to premiere on 17th April.
