Maharana Pratap Singh popularly known as “ Maharana ” was the 13th king of Mewar (the present Rajasthan).
He was born on May 9, 1540. The “Siege of Chittorgarh” led to the loss of fertile eastern belt to the Mughals in 1568.
Akbar wanted to establish a secure route to Gujarat through Mewar. So, he sent number of envoys to King Rana to become a vassal just like the other Rajputs. Rana refused. Hence, the Battle of Haldighati was fought.
Maharana is known for his bravery in the Battle of Haldighati. The battle was fought on 18 June, 1576 between Maharana and the forces of Akbar.
Though, the Rana lost, he and his chief army men escaped with wounds. They re-gathered their forces, fought and won against the Mughals after six year.

Jambuvan : Leader of bears who found Sita with his supernatural powers in Ramayan. so Rama asks Jambavanta to ask for any desired boon. Then Jambavanta tells his desire to fight with Lord Rama( in a battle ), then Rama says “ Jambavanta, your desire will for sure, be fulfilled in my next avatar as Lord Krishna. Later Jambavanta lived in a forest cave, and was always meditating about Lord Rama. Lord Vishnu took avatar as Lord Krishna.
There was a great King called Satrajit, and was a great devotee of Sun God. one day Sun God gives Darshan to King Satrajit and blessed him with an expensive Necklace / jewel called Syamanthaka_mani, the necklace had the power to give few kgs of gold per day.
Shri Krishna suggests Satrajit to use it for people and development of kingdom instead of wearing it in the neck. Satrajit doesn’t listen him, One day, Prasen , the brother of King Satrajit, and a ruler of a Yadava province wears the necklace and goes for hunting, he will be killed by a lion,then Satrajit mistakes that it was the plan of Shri Krishna to get the necklace, later Krishna went to forest to know the truth, he saw necklace with bear (Jambuvan) then Krishna fights with him for 28 days….Later Jambavan recognized Shri Krishna is the avatar of Shri Rama…
