Film Producer and Fashionista Prerna Arora, known for her knack for socially relevant and groundbreaking films like ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’ and ‘Padman,’ and commercial box office successes like ‘Rustom’ and ‘Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran’, is also known for her elegance and style. Flaunting the same, Arora recently walked the ramp as the show opener at a fashion week event in Mumbai.
The filmmaker turned muse for Kiaayo opening for their special curated show embracing womanhood. Arora was seen adorning a pine green Bandhani dress paired with a heavy cropped handcrafted khatwork as she walked the prestigious ramp. The design incorporated ethnic fashion with western hues with a soft makeup look complementing her elegant outfit. Through this initiative, Prerna Arora promotes conscious fashion and pledges her support for local artisans.
Speaking about her ramp experience, Prerna Arora said, “Being a part of the runway has always been exhilarating for me, and this time, it was an absolute honour to open the show for Kiaayo’s celebration of womanhood. The fusion of traditional Bandhani with contemporary handcrafted khatwork truly resonates with my style statement. Through this collaboration, I am not just embracing fashion; I am also helping the cause of conscious fashion and extending my support to our local artisans. It’s a privilege to walk for such a meaningful initiative, and I am grateful for the opportunity.” The special curated show celebrates women empowerment.
On the work front, Prerna Arora has a couple of projects in her kitty including Hero Heeroine starring Divyah Khossla Kumar and ‘Dunk: Once Bitten Twice Shy’ starring Nidhhi Agerwal and Tusshar Kapoor.
