The NDA has 128 MLAs in the Bihar Assembly against 115 of the Grand Alliance. To achieve the majority mark, an alliance needs 122 MLAs.

13. Union Cabinet recently approved the spectrum auction for 2024, which is expected to garner Rs 96,317 crore for the exchequer. The auction will include various spectrum bands like 800 MHz, 900 MHz, 1800 MHz, 2100 MHz, and 2300 MHz that can be used by telecom operators to provide 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G services.

1. India welcomed the release of eight Indian nationals who were arrested in Qatar on August 30, 2022 and were given death sentence last October. In an early morning statement, the Ministry of External Affairs indicated that seven of the men have already returned.

This state-of-the-art facility is equipped with advanced tools for 3D printing, CAD modeling, sensors, and real-time embedded hardware designing

4. Families of Agniveers dying in the line of duty should get the same benefits that are extended to next of kin of regular military personnel, a parliamentary panel has recommended. Under the existing provisions, families of Agniveers making supreme sacrifices are not eligible for regular benefits like pension.

A pre-recruitment training for Agniveer aspirants from Bodoland Territorial Region was initiated by 135th Infantry Battalion (Territorial Army) in collaboration with BTR government at Titaguri in Kokrajhar on Sunday. The training capsule is aimed at preparing young Army aspirants for physical, medical, and written tests.
