1. Ayush Ministry will organise a scientific convention on World Homeopathy Day in New Delhi on 10 April (Monday). World Homoeopathy Day is observed to commemorate the birth anniversary of the founder of Homoeopathy, Dr Christian Fredrich Samuel Hahnemann to mark his 268th birth anniversary. The theme of this scientific convention is ‘Homoeoparivar- Sarvajan Swasthya, One Health, One Family’. Vice President Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar will inaugurate the scientific convention and Minister of Ayush and Ports, Shipping & Waterways Shri Sarbananda Sonowal will grace the occasion. MoS for Ayush and WCD Dr Munjpara Mahendrabhai, Member of Parliament Dr Manoj Rajoria, and Secretary Ayush Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha will also present.
2. Ukraine, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emine Dzhaparova to be on a four-day official visit to India; likely to seek humanitarian aid for her country.
3. Pakistan High Commission issued 2,856 visas to Sikh pilgrims from India for their participation in annual festivals relating to Baisakhi celebrations in Pakistan from April 9 to 18

1. Israel has carried out air strikes on targets belonging to the Palestinian militant group Hamas in southern Lebanon and Gaza Strip. Israeli military said the attacks were a response to a dozens of rockets fired from Lebanon into northern part of the country.
2. Security tightened in Israel’s Jerusalem ahead of Jewish holiday : Israel’s defense minister on Saturday extended a closure barring entrance to Israel for Palestinians from the occupied West Bank and Gaza Strip for the duration of the Jewish holiday of Passover
