1. IPL 2023 – The 16th edition of the IPL starts on Friday, March 31, with defending champions Gujarat Titans taking on four-time winner Chennai Super Kings at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

BCCI to ban Sri Lanka and Bangladesh players from IPL: BCCI is reportedly unhappy with Bangladesh Cricket Board and Sri Lanka Cricket for not releasing their players in time to be with their respective franchises and is even considering putting a shadow ban on players from these countries for IPL 2024 auctions.

2. Kylian Mbappe’s France, Dusan Vlahovic’s Serbia heading toward Euro 2024. France’s 1-0 win at Ireland was earned by defender Benjamin Pavard’s rasping 50th-minute shot that was a rare show of attacking force in Dublin.

Harry Kane struck a record-extending 55th goal for his country to help England beat Ukraine 2-0, while Cristiano Ronaldo netted twice in his 198th appearance for Portugal in a 6-0 win over Luxembourg.

4. Antonio Conte leaves Tottenham Hotspur by mutual agreement. The Italian’s assistant, Cristian Stellini, has been appointed acting head coach for the rest of the season.

Shadab Leads Pakistan’s Consolation T20I Win, Afghanistan Take SeriesShadab Khan became the first Pakistani and seventh bowler overall to complete 100 T20I wickets in his 87th match, claiming 3-13. aving lost the first two match by six and seven wickets respectively, Pakistan’s new-look side posted a strong 182-7 in 20 overs before restricting Afghanistan to 116 in 18.4 overs.
