Mumbai: Megastar Amitabh Bachchan well-known for his active social media presence and love for learning modern Gen Z terms, recently kicked off the shoot for the upcoming season of Kaun Banega Crorepati.
In a hilarious new promo released by Sony Entertainment Television, Big B is seen engaging in a witty banter with a contestant on the hot seat over an unusual occupation entry.
While reviewing the contestant’s profile, the host cracked up after reading his designated role as a “biwi paglu” (a husband obsessed with his wife). Catching the contestant in the act, Big B teased him about his unique “profession,” leading to an equally funny confession from the contestant that every husband is ultimately just an employee of his wife.
The conversation begins with the megastar saying, тАЬbiwi paglu, occupation biwi paglu, hum sochein, ki aap labour ministry mai kaam kar rahein hain, idhar to occupation aaraha hain biwi paglu.” (Wife’s helper? Occupation: wife’s helper? I thought you worked in the Labour Ministry, but here your occupation says ‘wife’s helper.’)
The contestant responds with a smile, “Sir, aadmi sirf apni biwi ki naukri karta hai.” (Sir, every man only works for his wife)
Joining in on the banter, Amitabh Bachchan quips, “Yeh sahi baat hain, woh malkin hai, aur har pati ko maan lena chahiye, aisehi rahoge to jeevit rahoge warna, nikaal diye jaaoge.” (That’s absolutely right. She is the boss, and every husband should accept that. Live like this and you’ll survive, otherwise you’ll be fired)
