In ICC Women’s T20 World Cup, India defeated Pakistan by 64 runs in a Group A cricket match at Edgbaston in Birmingham. India set a target of 171 runs for arch rivals Pakistan. In reply Pakistan were all out with 106 runs in 17 overs. Opting to bat, India posted 170 for six in their allotted 20 overs. Smriti Mandhana was the highest run scorer with 68 runs in 44 deliveries. Earlier Indian skipper Harmanpreet Kaur won the toss and elected to bat.
