1. The Election Commission on Friday ordered repolling in 15 polling stations in Diamond Harbour and Magrahat Paschim Assembly seats in South 24 Parganas district on Saturday. Polling will take place from 7 am to 6 pm at 11 booths in Magrahat Paschim and four booths in Diamond Harbour.
2. The repolling came after the BJP alleged that EVM buttons were found tampered with using tape in Falta, which is part of the Diamond Harbour Lok Sabha constituency.

2. In Madhya Pradesh, the death toll in the cruise boat capsize incident in Jabalpur has risen to 9. The accident occurred last evening when a cruise boat carrying 39 passengers sank in Bargi River near Khamaria Island after being caught in a sudden violent storm and rough waves.

1. Mahendragiri, the sixth ship of Nilgiri-class (Project 17A), was delivered to the Indian Navy at Mumbai. Defence Ministry said that the delivery marks a milestone in achieving self-reliance in warship design and construction. Designed by the Warship Design Bureau and overseen by the Warship Overseeing Team (Mumbai), P17A frigates reflect a generational leap in indigenous ship design, stealth, survivability, and combat capability.
3. Russian filmmaker Pasha Talankin, the co-director of Academy Award-winning documentary “Mr. Nobody Against Putin”, has lost his Oscar statuette after security officials at New York airport refused to let him board a flight with it.
