1. India and South Korea have signed 16 Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) across sectors such semiconductors, green energy, e-mobility and advanced manufacturing, aiming to double bilateral trade to 54 billion US dollars by 2030.
2. The Ministry of Textiles has launched the ‘Vishwa Sutra – Weaves of India for the World’ initiative. This initiative was unveiled at the prestigious Femina Miss India held in the Bhubaneswar where a special designer collection showcased the country’ diverse handloom traditions with the modern global twist. This move aims to promote the Indian handlooms internationally while blending the tradition with contemporary fashion.
3. On the 27th April, 2026 India and New Zealand are set to sign the Free Trade Agreement (FTA). The agreement also aims to strengthen the economic ties, boost exports and will attract nearly $20 billion in investment over 15 years.

5. India has delivered two tonnes of life-saving medical supplies to the Shree Hindu Mandal Hospital at Dar es Salaam in Tanzania, reinforcing its humanitarian outreach and commitment to strengthening healthcare cooperation with the East African country.

1. Former Bulgarian President Rumen Radev’s Progressive Bulgaria party has secured a landslide victory in the country’s parliamentary elections, marking a major political shift in the European Union and NATO member state.
2. US President Donald Trump said, he will start bombing Iran if they do not agree to a deal with the United States before the end of the two-week ceasefire.
3. North Korea and Russia held a ceremony to mark the linking of a cross-border road bridge over the Tumen River. The Russian Embassy in North Korea on Tuesday said, the bridge is set for completion on 19th June. The two countries began constructing the road bridge in April last year.
