Why Sun looks red in colour and cool in morning?
In the morning, the Sun looks red and cooler (less bright) mainly because of something called Rayleigh scattering.
Here’s the simple idea:
Sunlight has many colors (like a rainbow).
When the Sun is near the horizon (morning/evening), its light has to travel a longer distance through Earth’s atmosphere.
The shorter wavelengths (like blue and violet) get scattered away in all directions.
The longer wavelengths (red, orange) pass through more easily and reach your eyes.
